Oscoda Area's Premier Beach Bed and Breakfast!

Have you seen the Michigan Blue Magazine?  No, it is not about a certain university or medical insurance, it's Michigan's travel and waterfront lifestyle magazine!  The Sweetwater Sea Bed and Breakfast is feature with a two page spread and we are honored to be called "a retreat to savor."  As only one of two Lake Huron beachfront B&B's in the Oscoda area, we strive to create the best Lake Huron experience for our guests.  The magazine highlights places to visit and stay, spotlighting beaches, trails, activities and homes around the state.

In August, we got a call from a journalist asking to do an article for the publication.  Since we had only been open for two months, we were so pleased, and a bit happily shocked, to get noticed.  I was so excited that I invited Bill Semion and his wife to come stay and see what we are all about.  They enjoyed the same amenities and breakfast as our other guests- we woudn't want to unduly influence!  Bill's main focus with Michigan Blue is to highlight travel along U.S.Highway 23, which travels hugs Michigan's east coast through Tawas and Oscoda and right past our B&B in Greenbush, and on through Harrisville.

As the article states, we are smack in the middle of the Sunrise Side of the state but don't worry, we also get great sunsets.  The lake and clouds reflect the sky so we are regularly blessed with vibrant oranges and yellows of sunrise in the morning and pastel purples and pinks sweep across the horizon in the evening.
